MOULANA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, Perinthalmanna, was incepted in 2011 by the MOULANA CHARITABLE TRUST and is attached to the Moulana Hospital – A Super Specialty Referral Hospital with modern facilities and service having an inpatient capacity of 550 beds. The pharmacy college is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Kerala and affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).
The college boasts of a solid infrastructure with spacious well-furnished class rooms, fully equipped laboratories and voluminous library multi-dimensioned with broadband internet facility, reading room and reprography. It is also provided with modern teaching aids which stand testimony to the far-sighted vision of creating value through knowledge to promote culture, philosophy & education for the benefit of the members of all communities. Frequent seminars, presentations and exposure to research work gives our students a competitive edge in their professional career. They get ample opportunities to design, formulate and analyze drugs and are also trained in manufacturing of drugs in the College.
The Trust also runs various other Para-medical institutions such as The College of Nursing providing B. Sc and M. Sc (Nursing), College of Paramedical Sciences providing B. Sc (MLT), Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) & Diploma in Radiological Techniques (DRT) courses.The group also runs a School – Moulana International School along with a Pre School- Al fitrah Islamic Pre School in the Campus.
The scenic natural beauty of the place is very conducive for academic and professional achievements. The College is located at ANGADIPPURAM, opposite Angadippuram Railway Station in Perinthalmanna. It is situated by the side of Palakkad – Kozhikkode National Highway. The nearest main Railway Station is SHORNUR. However, those who travel by train from Northern Kerala can conveniently drop at TIRUR and reach by line buses plying frequently.
